On April 19, 2025, Capitol Kitchen came alive with the soulful sounds of Kaipo Kapua, as New Waves Studios and Åguayente Distillers presented “The Hawaiian Lū‘au”, an immersive island-themed evening. The event brought the warmth of Hawaii, the spirit of Guam, and the power of live performance into one unforgettable night.
According to The Guam Guide, this special lu‘au dinner was “bringing the heart of Hawaiʻi to the island with the smooth, soulful sounds of Kaipo Kapua” — a heartwarming invitation that set the tone for the evening.
